No timeline for reopening of highway between 168 and 172 streets

A crash between a sedan and a truck in Cloverdale on Monday afternoon has forced the closure of Highway 10 between 168 and 172 streets.

In a statement, a Surrey RCMP spokesperson said a tractor trailer and sedan collided at the intersection of Highway 10 and 168 Street at 2:49 pm
The driver of one of those vehicles has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Due to the serious nature of the collision, Highway 10 will be shut down with traffic control personnel in place. It is requested that the public avoid the area,” the spokesperson said.
“The investigation is in the early stages and it is unknown how long the road closure will remain in effect.”
