Schitt’s Creek mansion in Toronto for sale for nearly $ 22 million

If you’ve watched the now-iconic Canadian show Schitt’s Creek, you’ll probably remember the extravagant mansion the Rose family once called home.

Now, the 24,000-square-foot Toronto residence with 12 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms is for sale for the price of nearly $ 22 million.

The mansion featured heavily in the show's pilot episode when the Rose family was evicted from their home.

Known as La Belle Maison and located in Toronto’s upscale St. Andrews-Windfields neighborhood at 30 Fifeshire Rd., The residence was built less than a decade ago. It has a formal entrance inspired by the Sistine Chapel, a family room with an aquarium and a banquet hall with capacity for 150 people.

The 24,000-square-foot Toronto residence had 12 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms.

“The property is very unique because it has this authentic, handcrafted European aesthetic, but it blends with the modern 21st century home,” said Daniel Milstein, who is working with the Aaron Kirman Group in Beverly Hills, California, to market the exclusive listing in the USA in collaboration with a Toronto broker.

“It incorporates a true European palace property in a contemporary setting in the city,” he said.

And impressive gardens, plus indoor and outdoor saltwater pools.

While watching the Emmy Award-winning series created by Eugene and Dan Levy (who also star in the show), you may have missed the four-story elevator, wine cellar, indoor and outdoor saltwater pools, and 14 parking spaces in the mansion’s heated circular driveway.

The residence is shown during the show’s pilot episode when the once super-rich Rose family is frantically evicted after going broke when their business manager steals their money. With nowhere else to go, they leave their luxurious mansion behind and move to a town called Schitt’s Creek.

It also features a four-story elevator, a wine cellar, and 14 parking spaces on the mansion's heated circular driveway.

Listed three weeks ago, this is not the first time the property has been for sale recently. However, its current price reflects demand in the luxury space, according to Milstien.

“The price has skyrocketed over the past year and there have been various factors as to where the price has landed, but this is where we think the price is today,” he said, noting that while he has seen interest in the property, there have been no offers. officially brought to the table thus far.
