SAT reminds individuals to use the 2021 annual declaration simulator


The Tax Administration Service (SAT) reminded individual taxpayers to use the payment simulator to familiarize themselves with the annual declaration for fiscal year 2021. SAT will begin accepting returns from April 1 to April 30, 2022.

The Physical persons obliged to present the annual declaration are those that belong to the following regimes: professional services (fees), business activities, technological platforms, leasing, interests, dividends, disposal of goods and acquisition of goods.

The SAT It also states that those individuals who received income from salaries from two or more employers, who obtained income from another activity and those who, in addition to obtaining income from salaries, obtain nominal interest income of more than 20,000 pesos, must file the annual declaration.

“It is important to point out that the personal deductions They are already pre-filled in the declaration and correspond to the expenses made last year by the taxpayers, as long as they have requested an invoice and paid by card or electronic transactions,” the treasury revealed.

Some deductions are Medical feesdental, psychologists and nutritionists, medical expenses insurance, as well as hospital expenses, donations, real interest paid for mortgage loans for houses and school fees, among others.
