Saskatoon Police Search Suspect After Alley Stabbing – Saskatoon | The Canadian News

Saskatoon police are searching for a man they believe stabbed another man Friday night during a fight.

A press release said a K-9 unit agent came across two men fighting in the south alley of Idywyld Drive North and 32nd Street West around 7 p.m.

Police say a man wearing a red shirt and baseball cap escaped into the alley after the officer approached them.

The officer approached the wounded man and found him with numerous stab wounds.

The 42-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. It is now in stable condition.

Agents from the Serious Assault Unit were called to the scene and are continuing their investigation.

The suspect was not located and is unknown at this time.
