Sanitary reductions make travelers happy

The reduction in health measures is a delight for travelers and airlines, which are improving their offer… and sometimes at a low price.

For example, a return flight to Paris from Montreal on March 1 would cost $649. But the price will drop to $493 if you wait until July 14 to leave.

To go to Cancún on March 1, you will have to pay $496. The price will rise to $582 if you leave on July 14 instead.

Finally, those who want to enjoy the Florida sun will have to pay $424 to fly to Orlando on March 1st. However, this same trip will cost $344 on July 14.

But bargains are not the only criteria Quebec travelers are looking for. Flexibility is also an important criterion when the time comes to fly abroad.

“People want to be reassured and ask themselves, ‘If I make an investment in a trip, if something ever happens, will I get my marbles back?’” explains Nicolas Ryan, director of public affairs at CAA Quebec.

“The second thing is slightly beefier trips. People will say ”I was deprived of travel for two years, now I’m going to make the trip I’ve been waiting for a very long time”, he adds.
