Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused $60 billion in infrastructure damage

The damage caused to buildings and infrastructure of Ukraine by the Russian invasion have reached approximately 60,000 million dollars and will continue to increase as long as the war continues, said David Malpass, president of the World Bank.

David Malpass held at a conference of the world Bank on Ukraine’s financial assistance needs that the first estimate of the damage costs does not include the growing economic costs of the war for the invaded country.

“Of course the war is still going on, so those costs are going up,” Malpass said.
