Carole Cannon, a retiree, also wanted to add her voice to that of others by sharing her abortion story. 51 years ago, she was still just a child, but she was part of a sex trafficking ring and was regularly abused. At the time, she was only 12 years old.
“When I got pregnant it was a year before Roe v. Wade. If I hadn’t had an abortion, I never would have graduated from high school or college.
