The regional elections in Andalusia have caused an unprecedented shift in the political map of an autonomous community that never had an Executive that was not socialist until four years ago. The historical absolute majority of the PP has been cemented transversally in the eight Andalusian provinces, all of them colored blue for the first time in history. Even Sevillethe PSOE’s great fort, has been handed over to Juanma Moreno.
The PP has been the party with the most support for nearly 550 municipalities of the 785 that make up Andalusia, 450 more than in the last elections. The PSOE has imposed itself in some 200 seatsa third of its result in 2018. Through Andalusia has been the preferred option of a dozen towns and citizens, only in two. Vox and Adelante Andalucía have not obtained any municipal victory.
