A Regina woman faces charges after a domestic dispute in the far east of the city.

On New Year’s Eve, police were called to the 100 block of Froom Crescent for an alleged domestic assault.

The 21-year-old female victim, the suspect’s sister, was found to have suffered injuries related to physical assault.

When police arrested the suspect, he allegedly spat at one of the officers.

The 24-year-old suspect has been charged with assault and mischief. His name is not being released to avoid identifying the victim.
