Police were unable to safely return the man to the ground, resulting in the closure of 11th Avenue traffic at Scarth Street and the diversion of bus routes so that the Regina Fire Department could bring in a truck ladder.

The man was secured to a basket that was safely lowered to the ground around 3:45 p.m. He was treated at the scene by EMS.
