Reader’s Letter: Poor Logistics at Vaccine Distribution Site

article content

I am really disappointed in the organization of providing booster shots at the Devonshire Mall location.

They asked us to make an appointment online, which I did for 9:15 am on December 20. Upon arrival, hundreds of people were already there.

I congratulate those responsible for providing the vaccine, however, the lines should have been better separated. There were a lot of people in their 50s and older exposed to a lot of other people while they waited.

What was the point of making an appointment to be driven alone with so many other people, perhaps including the unvaccinated?

I’m sure I speak for many others who discovered that there was such poor logistics on this site.
