Kanye West had no idea his ex-wife Kim Kardashian already had the only copy of his second sex tape, and he didn’t know she launched Kim Kardashian: Superstar herself, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, her ex-lover Ray J, 41, said the Yeezy boss only learned the truth about what really happened during their meeting in October.
The October 8 meeting at Los Angeles International Airport was portrayed on the Kardashians’ new Hulu show as the moment Kanye retrieved the tape, even though it was always in Kim’s possession.
Yesterday, DailyMail.com revealed the existence of the second sex tape listed in the contract he signed with Vivid Entertainment as ‘Santa Barbara Sex Tape’.
In the second part of his exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Ray J reveals that Kanye West had no idea his ex-wife Kim had been involved in the deal to ‘leak’ his sex tape in 2007.
In the Hulu shows, Kanye flies to Los Angeles and back to New York with a computer containing the unreleased sex tape. But Ray J says there were only photos of him and Kim on the device.
“He got the whole sex tape back for me,” Kim said through tears on The Kardashians. But Ray J says there was no porn in the files he gave Kanye because Kim has had the tape, and two others, all along.
Kim wept uncontrollably when she allegedly received Kanye West’s sex tape. But Ray J insists they are crocodile tears because he kept the tapes in a box under his bed the whole time.
Instead of the tape Kim, 41, already had, the rapper was given a laptop containing “intimate” photos and texts exchanged between her and Ray J between 2006 and 2009.
Love and Hip Hop star Ray J says he was not paid, despite subsequent claims of extortion from Kanye, and handed over the contents of the laptop to allay Kim’s fears.
Ray J, whose real name is Ray Norwood, said: “Kim didn’t tell him, ‘Look, I put the tape out with Ray J, it was a business deal, we both ran it together, we were business partners and they’re still business partners. There’s really no problem with Ray J”.
“Khloe, Kendall, Kylie and Kourtney, they also have no idea this is a lie.”
Referring to a lawsuit filed against Kim and Khloe in 2008 over allegations that they stole money from their mother, Sonja Norwood, Ray J added, “Other than them stealing money from my family, we’d probably still be together now.”
‘But when that happened I said I didn’t want to sleep with you again, you stole money from my family. So that’s why we stopped talking.
The lawsuit, which accused the Kardashian sisters of racking up a $120,000 bill on Norwood’s AMEX credit card, was eventually settled out of court, but not before they were forced to admit they used the money to stock their stores. DASH and Smooch.
Despite the bad blood, Ray J said he was happy to give Kanye the laptop after the rapper contacted him while he was hospitalized with pneumonia in Miami.
He revealed how he told Kanye, 44, everything, including how he, Kim and Kris Jenner, 66, teamed up to release the original tape.

Kanye and Ray J met in a private terminal at Los Angeles International Airport late on Friday, October 8, the day before Kim was to host Saturday Night Live.

Ray J said he agreed to the meeting on the condition that it be kept private and was furious when Kanye made it public in an interview in January.

“He was upset at first and asked me to stop using profanity and then he started acting spiritual.”
“I gave him everything I had, I showed him everything I had, he sat on the floor and watched everything I gave him,” Ray J said of his four-hour meeting with Kanye.

Of the late-night meeting that started at 10pm and went on into the early hours of the next day, Ray J said: ‘I asked you to keep this private. Parent to parent, I didn’t want anyone to know I did this because I was really trying to make amends.
“All I wanted from him was for him to help me clear my name. I can’t keep being censored like this.
He added: “It smears my character so much that a guy comes looking for a laptop that I gave him and I specifically told him not to tell anyone we know because I’m really giving you this laptop to make you feel better dad.” to the father
‘I don’t want money from you, if you want to talk to me for four hours and explain all your problems… I was there to listen.
‘I thought we had a good time at that point. I felt like we could build on this and I told Kanye exactly how this all happened.

According to Ray J, Kanye was even seen wearing the same outfit he wore to their LAX meeting in the scene that aired on the Hulu show where he handed the laptop to a crying Kim.
The scene also included a moment where Kris Jenner asked Kanye if he had given Ray J “a big fat check” and Kanye said “my family will never be extorted again.”
West, who now goes by the name ‘Ye’, told the family that he had not paid Ray J, who says he had never asked for and was never given any money in the first place.
Ray J said, “He took the laptop and gave it back to Kim in the same outfit he had on the night before and then played it on the Hulu network for the launch of his new show.”
Kim is now in a relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, 28.
“If I had to die tomorrow, I would feel better now because I know my truth was told before it was over,” says Ray J. “That’s how I feel: nothing matters except the truth.”

He added, “It brought me all this stuff that’s been going on over the years and I really had to slap myself in the face and say, ‘Ray, don’t forget none of this is true, man.'”

‘This is about my life. It’s about this is my truth and protecting my family. Whatever they’re going to do to me now after I’ve told my truth, it’s all good because now I feel like I can breathe.
‘If I were to die tomorrow, I would feel better now because I know my truth was told before it was over. This is how I feel, nothing matters except the truth.
Ray J told DailyMail.com that this is the only time he will discuss the sex tape he and Kim made in 2002 that was released by Vivid Entertainment five years later.
‘It was important for me to tell my story, the truth, and now it’s done. I don’t need to talk about it again and I want to move on.
