“However, given the number of infections we currently have, the federal government has decided to move Querétaro to a yellow traffic light, while the Technical Committee for the Care of Covid-19 in the state has decided to move our entity into amended Scenario A. hold, ”he said. the governor.

Kuri González insisted on the need to act with social responsibility to prevent the entity from returning to detention or restrictive measures for mobility.

“(We must prevent) the fulfillment of civic duty and social responsibility, the increase in hospitalizations, deaths and restrictive measures that we will take if that happens. “If we respect the rules, we will avoid a new restriction and restrictions on mobility and coexistence,” he said.

Given the epidemiological behavior that the state has maintained since the beginning of the year, he urged the population to attend the vaccination days as well as to maintain the health protocols and go out only for necessary activities.

“Maintain the use of face masks and hygiene, only go out to what is strictly necessary, if you have flu symptoms, isolate yourself and contact the health sector, I ask the private sector in correspondence to respect hours, influx and prevention measures,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the members of the Technical Committee for the Attention of Covid-19 They agreed that the amended Scenario A would remain in force, which would be subject to real-time monitoring of the pandemic, with the aim of taking new measures when necessary.

The committee recognized that the conditions currently facing put the state on the brink of a change of scenery.

Meanwhile, at the traffic light of epidemiological risk by the federal government, Queretaro returned to yellow traffic light, high risk for the period from 24 January to 6 February.

From January 8 to 21 alone, the state registered 8,871 active cases, an indicator that puts it in ninth place, among the states with the highest numbers, reports the federal Department of Health.
