Querétaro lists 250 million pesos in support for companies


Queretaro, Qro. For micro, small, medium and large companies, a bag of 250 million pesos is being prepared in various support programs, a resource that will be exercised during the current year.

The Secretary of Sustainable Development (Headquarters) of the state, Marco Antonio del Prete Thirdannounced that it is a series of initiatives that will be aimed at both artisans and companies.

One of these schemes, he explained, is the support program for economic sectors, which is aimed at small businessmen in the commerce, services, mining sectors, as well as quarry and marble artisans who work in the semi-desert of the state.

“There are many programs, the instruction of the governor (Mauricio Kuri Gonzalez) is to support SMEs in Queretaro, we have the support program for economic sectors, (with which) small entrepreneurs that have to do with commerce, with services, with special sectors such as miners, artisans will be supported ” , he exposed.

Similarly, there is a regional strengthening program that aims to support the development of productive projects led by assemblies or groups of citizens.

“The fact that they are working in very particular trades that can be the bakery, the blacksmith shop, workshops, some other transformation product, are productive projects that we will be promoting especially in the Sierra Gorda”, he specified.

Meanwhile, the competitiveness program is focused on small and medium-sized companies in the state that seek to achieve certifications or improve their training; Likewise, he said, a program is being prepared to encourage technological development and innovation projects.

In this context, the state secretariat and National Financial coordinate the program Nafin Boost + Statesthrough which micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) will access a pool of 150 million pesos in credits.

It is a financing system through the national bank, where the state government will provide the guarantee.

In this case, the credits may be for amounts of up to five million pesos; the resource is for working capital or for the acquisition of fixed assets. Meanwhile, the maximum interest rate will be a fixed annual 13%, for a term of up to 60 months.
