Quebec Reports 1,512 New COVID-19 Cases As Hospitalizations Decline

Saturday’s case count is the highest number of daily cases reported since mid-April.

A total of 453,380 infections have been confirmed in the province since the first was reported in February 2020.

Quebec also announced that one more death had been attributed to the virus, bringing the death toll in the province to 11,586.

The number of hospitalizations due to the virus now stands at 225 patients, a decrease from five. Of those patients, 60 are in intensive care, an increase of three.
