The Greater Essex County District School Board will conduct an online survey of all its staff to find out who they are and how they identify as individuals.
The staff census will provide demographic information to help the board implement initiatives to achieve the goal of creating a diverse workforce that reflects the community. It is voluntary, anonymous and the information will be confidential.
The census is a part of the board’s Equity Action Plan that also includes an Employment Systems Review and a Student Census to be conducted in 2022.
The survey will open on Friday, November 12 and will remain open until November 30. The participation of all employees is requested, whether they are full-time and part-time, temporary, occasional and casual.
