Sunday, the QP publicized a proposal concerning the price of gasoline on the sidelines of the investiture meeting of Méganne Perry Mélançon, following the historic rise in prices at the pump.
In several towns in Eastern Quebec, the price per liter recently crossed the two-dollar mark.
The PQ leader suggests taking inspiration from what is being done in France and passing a law to temporarily freeze the price of gasoline at a maximum of $1.60 per litre.
