PriceTravel’s revenues have already exceeded the prepandemic level

The growing adoption of digital platforms in the tourism sector and the desire to travel after the Covid-19 pandemic, mainly to beaches, have driven the recovery of PriceTravel in Mexico, so to date they have already exceeded their sales and profitability figures 2019, said Director of Operations Rafael Durand.

“Before the pandemic, we came from a successful period with double-digit growth. In 2019 we grew close to 30% and this year we are around 45%, in general terms. There is a relevant issue regarding the transversal growth of the industry, and it is that 45% has double value because the estimates speak of recovery until 2022 and 2023 and we already have it, “he said.

In videoconference, the manager highlighted that in addition to their reported growth (driven by promotional activities such as Hot Sale) they are gaining market share. As part of his activities in line with the recovery, Durand said that the tourist market (to be held next week in Merida), will hold about 500 work meetings.
