On June 17, 2021, at about 7:10 am, officers responded to a call for a suspicious fire at a home near 120 Avenue and 91 Street. It was reported that the homeowners were able to escape the house without serious injuries but their two cats died in the blaze.

The fire has since been confirmed as an arson, and investigators released images of the suspects in the backyard of the home. The pair were wearing dark-coloured hoodies, jeans, gloves and baseball caps. One of the suspets was holding a jerry can.

Security camera video also captured images of the suspects entering the backyard through the back gate from the east alley.

Police said the damage caused by the arson rendered the home uninhabitable

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact the police.
