Police seek aid to find missing St-Hyacinthe teen

The Sûreté du Québec is asking the public’s aid to locate Danycka Ryder-Vachan, 17, of St-Hyacinthe. She was seen for the last time on Sunday in St-Hyacinthe. She was getting around by foot or in a vehicle, and may be with another young person. Her family of her has reason to fear for her safety of her.

She’s described as 5-foot-4 and 134 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. She has tattoos of a flower and the letter “R” on her right hand. The phrase “La souffrance d’hier est la guerrière d’aujourd’hui” (Yesterday’s suffering is today’s warrior) is on her left forearm, and “Loyalty” is tattooed on her forehead. She has four scars on her left leg.

She may be found in St-Hyacinthe, Longueuil or in Montreal. Anyone who sees someone resembling her is asked to call 911. Any information that could help in finding her can be given to the SQ’s information center at 1-800-659-4264.
