Police Respond to 3 Mississauga Pharmacy Robberies in Just Over 1 Hour – Toronto | The Canadian News

Peel Regional Police officers responded to three Mississauga pharmacy robberies in just over an hour Monday night.

Police said they were first called to the Clarkson and Christopher Highways area, near Southdown Road and Queen Elizabeth Way, at 5:20 p.m. for an attempted robbery at a pharmacy.

The incident reportedly involved four suspects in their 20s wearing masks.

A police spokesperson told Global News that nothing was taken out of the business.

One victim was taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.

Police said officers were called to the Hurontario and Agnes Streets area, just north of Dundas Street, at 5:53 p.m.

That incident allegedly involved five suspects in their 20s wearing masks. One victim suffered minor injuries but was not taken to hospital.

The third incident occurred in the Confederation Parkway and Queensway area. Officers were called there at 6:33 p.m.

Police said it involved three suspects in their 20s wearing masks. No injuries were reported.

No weapons were seen in any of the incidents, police said.

The police spokesman said drugs were taken from pharmacies in the last two incidents. No cash theft was reported.

It is “too early to tell” if the incidents are connected, the spokesperson added.
