Edmonton police are investigating after two homes were hit by bullets in the city’s west end.

On Thursday, officers responded to a report of a bullet found in a home in the area of ​​206 Street and 94A Avenue in the neighborhood of Lewis Estates. It was reported that a loud bang was heard at about 2 am and later that day, a broken bedroom window was discovered along with a bullet in a wall.

Later that afternoon, police responded to a similar complaint after a bullet was found in a wall of a home in the area of ​​205 Street and 95 Avenue.

Investigators believe both shootings occurred in the overnight or early morning hours of Wednesday and Thursday. No injuries were reported in either shooting.

As the homes are near each other, police believe the shootings are related.

Police are asking residents in the area to check their homes for any damage and review dashcams and home security footage for any suspicious activity or strange sounds overnight.
