A man died after an afternoon shooting in downtown Hamilton on Friday.
Hamilton police say they arrived at around 4:30 p.m. at a scene on Cannon Street between Barnesdale Avenue North and Lottridge Street.

A man in his 20s was rushed to a trauma center with severe injuries and no vital signs, according to the researchers.
The felony unit has taken over the investigation and has not released information about the suspects or whether anyone has been arrested.
The death marks the city’s 15th homicide in 2021.
