Police arrest two teen boys in stabbing of a third at Toronto high school


Police say they arrested two minors after a boy was stabbed in an altercation in Toronto’s Birch Cliff neighborhood Monday.

Toronto police say they were called to at high school near Danforth Avenue and Birchmount Road around 3 pm on Monday. Police say a 14-year-old boy was sent to the hospital with a stab wound after a fight with two other boys. The two others fled after the incident, police say.

A spokesperson for the police said he was not yet authorized to disclose the high school where the altercation happened.

On Wednesday, police charged a 16-year old boy and a 15-year-old boy with assault with a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
