Police are seeking the public’s help in gathering information about the stabbing on Drouillard Road

Patrol officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 1800 block of Drouillard Road around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police learned that two unknown male suspects had approached an adult male. A suspect prayed with a chemical believed to be a bear mace to the man’s face before he was stabbed.

The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His injuries were later determined to be what police described as non-life threatening.

The main crime unit is actively investigating and asking that anyone in the area with video surveillance review their footage for possible evidence.
