Podemos demands an “urgent” meeting with the PSOE to see the repeal of the labor reform in danger

The Secretary General of Podemos and Minister of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, Ione Belarra, has requested a “urgent” meeting of the monitoring table of the coalition agreement between the PSOE and United We Can. According to sources from the purple sector in the Executive, it is because the Socialists are putting obstacles to the repeal of the labor reform, a commitment included in the coalition agreement. Thus, they denounce that there has been “interference” by Nadia Calvin in this task that falls on the Ministry of Labor controlled by Yolanda Diaz.

“We need to address the management and execution of the coalition’s commitments,” says Belarra in the message he has posted on Twitter to publicize the malaise of United We Can. The conflict has arisen over the repeal of the labor reform, one of Díaz’s main objectives. The leader of the purple in the Government has spent months leading a battle with the first vice president, Nadia Calviño, to overturn the regulations that promoted the PP in 2012.
