Plane crash in supermarket in Temixco, Morelos, leaves at least three dead


At least three people died this Monday after a small plane crashed over a supermarket in the municipality of Temixco, Morelosreported local authorities.

The damaged ship was a King Air with more than 20 years of service that came from the port of Acapulco and was headed to Puebla.

“The death of three people who were traveling on the aircraft is reported, as well as four injured, who were transferred to different hospitals for their assessment and corresponding care,” Morelos Civil Protection reported on social networks about the incident recorded in the Azteca neighborhood.



According to Temixco authorities, the pilot and co-pilot of the plane are among the victims.

Some people who were in the supermarket, whose roof was made of tin, were slightly injured, according to the authorities.
