Three separate crashes left three pedestrians seriously injured after being struck by drivers in Toronto and Brampton on Tuesday night.
Toronto police are investigating an incident in which a woman was struck by the driver of a vehicle on Lansdowne Avenue and Dundas Street West in the Little Portugal area.
The woman was taken to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries, Toronto police said in a cheep.
Shortly after, a man was run over on Airport Road and Coventry Road in Brampton, where he was taken to a trauma center, Peel police said.
Peel police said the driver remained at the scene.
A third collision on Bathurst and Ulster streets involved a pedestrian and a driver. Police said the pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by Toronto Paramedic Services.
The driver remained at the scene, Toronto police said.
