PAN asks Claudia Sheinbaum to make public the DNV Energy Systems report on the accident on Line 12 of the Metro

The national president of the PAN, Marko Cortés Mendoza, criticized Claudia Sheinbaum’s decision to rescind the contract that the Mexico City government signed with DNV Energy Systems México, the company responsible for investigating the causes of the collapse of the elevated section of Line 12 of the subway.

“Until a few days ago, Claudia Sheinbaum praised the Norwegian company DNV, which she hired for the surveys on Line 12. With a report in hand, she changed her mind and even wants to criminalize them because she didn’t like the results. What is the head of government hiding? ”, Posted the PAN member on social networks.

From Aguascalientes, the national PAN leader demanded that the head of the Government of Mexico City “be accountable for the Line 12 tragedy, that she not hide the information and that she does not ignore the investigation.

“Those responsible for Line 12 of the Metro are Marcelo Ebrard; Mario Delgado, by action, and, by omission, Claudia Sheinbaum for not maintaining it. They have to show their faces, they have to respond.”

Now it turns out, he said, that Sheinbaum “no longer liked” the latest DNV report because it reveals that “he is responsible because he did not give timely maintenance and that all this cost the lives of 26 people for which no one has paid; that there is no justice and that Line 12 of the Metro was poorly done, because the specifications, the route, the dimensions of the wagons and the weight changed, and therefore it was not a work that could have been well maintained… and that caused Marcelo Ebrard had to leave the country and return until López Obrador won because he had an open investigation…”

Senator Kenia López Rabadán also lashed out at Sheinbaum:

“Let Mrs. Sheinbaum not forget that the DNV report was paid for with public resources and, therefore, should be made public. It is mean to use the tragedy of the Mexicans to stay in power.”

The decision to rescind the contract with the DNV company, he affirmed, “only reflects the most authoritarian face of the person who is in charge of the Government of Mexico City. Everything seems to indicate that the requirement that the report should contain was to release her and her collaborators from the responsibilities for the incident.
