OPP Seeks Public Help Identifying Suspicious Male Driver in Tecumseh

The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking advice from the public to help identify a male driver involved in the investigation of a suspicious person.

At around 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Tecumseh, OPP officers received a report of a suspicious driver who pulled up alongside a 13-year-old boy and attempted to engage in an argument in the vicinity of St Thomas Street and Manning Road.

The boy wisely refused to speak to the man and then immediately went to a safe place where he reported the incident.

Investigators seek to speak to the person involved.

The person of interest is described as a middle-aged man operating a dark gray Toyota sedan with a rusty trunk. The vehicle was described as having a round silver ornament hanging from the rear view mirror.
