Labor Minister Mount McNaughton says it’s a common sense shift that will preserve the dignity of those workers.

He says some companies have posted signs like “no drivers past this point” or “team members only restrooms,” but McNaughton says the truckers and concert workers are team members.

The legislation would apply to businesses where workers such as truck drivers, couriers and food delivery people collect or deliver food or other items.
