Ontario Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy released the province’s fall economic statement Thursday, which included an increase in funding to hire more long-term home care staff, nurses and healthcare professionals. The statement also included funding for hospital remodeling and construction and the extension of the home security tax credit for seniors.
