Ontario Prime Minister Doug Ford announced Wednesday that the province was launching Phase Two of its “Driving Prosperity” plan, which will help Ontario’s auto sector shift toward the production of electric vehicles and their batteries. “Ontario is the number one place in the world to build the cars and trucks of the future,” said Ford. The first phase of “Driving Prosperity” was first launched in 2019.
