It doesn’t hurt me because in the end it depends on how people like you. It can harm you if you are a weird guy, but if you are a normal person like them, they can even feel identified, as it has been in my case, and that things go well for you.

No, I am not the best example for young people either because I have had a complicated life. It is said: You do what I tell you, but don’t do what I do. If you pay attention to what I tell you in the documentary, that’s fine, but if you live my life … I have had to live things that I don’t want another child to experience. Being number one, in the end, is a consequence of when you do things well, but what gratifies me the most is being able to get to my grandmother’s house and say: come on, let’s all go to the movies. What is the secret to becoming the most listened to artist?
Don’t look hungry. I have never sought to be the most listened to. As a consequence, I am, but I don’t rent a villa and I invite all the people from the show business so that later they will support me and love me. If I have a party I invite the kids from my neighborhood, who are my friends, we make a song, and if we are number one with it, then happy, and if not, too. Therein lies the key to success, in being you at all times. I have not gone to live in La Moraleja. I’m still in the same house, hanging out with my old friends and I haven’t changed anything, I keep going to concerts with the same people, I have the kids from my neighborhood hired … It’s not like I sing like hell, like that that it is a matter of being yourself and treating people well.

I make the song and play it to my grandmother and my son. When I see that they nod and there is a good ‘vibe’, it is that it is going to be successful. They dance to it and spend days listening to it at home. But if I see that the filter does not pass, it is that it will not hit. Sometimes my son’s filter does pass, but my grandmother’s does not.
