Oil Union begins election for general secretary

In the middle of an electoral process in the 36 union sections, of which 675 complaints and disagreements have been presented, the Petroleum Workers Union of the Mexican Republic (STPRM) published the call to begin the process of electing the secretary general of the General Executive Committee, whose vacancy ends on December 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, the registry of candidates who want to run for the union general secretary They will be able to register from January 17, 2022 and until January 19, 2022.

Thus, as of January 21, 2022, the candidates who have registered will be able to start with a campaign process, in order to show their proposals to the workers of Mexican oil.
