The number of deaths from Covid-19 in Mexico increased to 289,131, after the Ministry of Health notified this Thursday 244 new deaths.

The agency also reported 3,763 new infections of this disease, to register a cumulative of 3 million 818,216 confirmed cases.

In his daily technical report on the progress of the new coronavirus pandemic In the country, the health authorities estimate 23,271 active cases, that is, people who presented symptoms of the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2.

The Ministry of Health highlighted that 3 million 181,631 people have recovered after suffering from Covid-19 in the country.

Regarding hospital capacity, the occupancy of general beds stands at 19%, one percentage point less than that reported yesterday. However, the occupancy of beds with a ventilator for the care of critically ill patients rose one percentage point to settle at 17 percent.

Progress of vaccination against Covid-19 in Mexico

As of Wednesday, November 3, the Ministry of Health applied 362,553 doses of the vaccine against Covid-19, to register a total of 126 million 884,663 vaccines supplied nationwide.
