Nuevo León registered total revenues in 2021 for 63,685 million pesos

Monterrey, NL. Total government revenue from New Lion: own income and federal participations, totaled 63,685 million pesos in 2021, which represented a growth of 10% with respect to what was registered during 2020. The highest collection was for the Payroll tax (ISN) which reached 10,726 million pesos, that is, 13% more than the previous year, informed Carlos Garza Ibarra, secretary of Finance and general treasurer of the state.

It is worth mentioning that this year, due to the new taxes approved by the Nuevo León Congress, the Income Law for fiscal year 2022 indicates that the state public treasury will receive income from taxes in the order of 12,873.4 million pesos. This figure includes a collection of 11,104.3 million pesos for the Payroll and Assimilable Tax, as well as Ecological Taxes for 400,000 pesos, among others.

On the other hand, own income, which is made up of tax collection and payment of duties, grew 19% compared to 2020, with a total of 17,489 million pesos.

The tax collection it reached 11,824 million pesos and grew 15% more than the previous year, due to the Payroll Tax (ISN), Lodging Tax; obtaining prizes; conducting games with bets and draws; Expenditures in gambling games; rates of transport network companies; possession or use of vehicles and transfer of vehicle ownership.

Meanwhile, for the payment of rights, such as land registry services; civil registration; public record; of vehicle control and other rights totaled 5,664 million pesos, with a variation of 26% in relation to the previous year.

“Without a doubt, this is an element that allows us to reinforce optimism regarding what we can expect in 2022 in terms of formal employment, since despite the negative effects of the pandemicLast year, companies kept their workforce or adjusted them as little as possible and now jobs are recovering ”, said the state treasurer.

Regarding the shares transferred by the Federal government, 100% were received, which totaled 39,478 million pesos, which represented an annual increase of 5%.

Participations for federal incentives, which include incentives for administrative collaboration with the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and incentives for Income Tax (ISR), totaled 6,718 million pesos, with a growth of 20% compared to 2020 and 28% above budget, the official said.
