In paperwork filed during the June sentencing, prosecutors asserted that Petty knowingly failed to register as a sex offender. They also claimed that home confinement would not be an acceptable punishment, citing the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom Calabasas home shared with Minaj as the reason.

Amid the home confinement sentence, Minaj shared a photo of Petty and her son, nicknamed Papa Bear, on Instagram.
