New drop in hospitalizations in Quebec


Patients infected with COVID are on the decline in Quebec, which has a balance sheet of 2,894 people in its hospitals, including 173 patients in intensive care.

The province also deplores 35 new deaths bringing the total number of victims of the coronavirus to 13,617 since the start of the pandemic.

THE SITUATION IN QUEBEC AS OF FEBRUARY 10, 2022

  • 891,951 people infected (+2894)*
  • 74,459 self-reported rapid tests so far, including 57,743 positive: 951 reported for yesterday, including 720 positive
  • 13,617 deaths (+35)
  • 2312 people hospitalized
  • 173 people in intensive care
  • 32,756 doses administered are added, that is 31,779 in the last 24 hours and 977 before February 8, for a total of 18,094,139 doses administered in Quebec.
  • Outside Quebec, a total of 291,487 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 18,385,626 doses received by Quebecers.

* The number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centers is restricted to priority clienteles.
