Toronto tutor Mattea Roach looked comfortable from start to finish en route to claiming her sixth Jeopardy! victory on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old finished with a runaway $30,800 for a spectacular six-show total of $148,000 in winnings.

Roach, who hails from Halifax, NS, will try to make it seventh heaven on Wednesday’s airing of the popular game show at 7:30 pm on YES-TV.

Roach had already earned a spot in the Tournament of Champions, which features the popular quiz game show’s top contestants.

At the beginning of Tuesday’s show, co-host Ken Jennings said many of the show’s contestants who have won four times eventually bowed out in game No. 5. The co-host said he was beginning to wonder if there was a “four-game curse,” but “thankfully, any fear of that was dispelled (Monday).”

Roach recently spoke of his Canadian pride.

“To be a Canadian on Jeopardy! is always very special. Alex Trebek’s legacy is such a big part of the show,” she told Jeopardy.com. “So, yeah, I’m just glad that I’m putting on a good show for all the folks back up North.”
