Lost City stars Sandra Bullock (from the Blind Side) as a middle-aged romance author. She’s released a new novel in her Dash McMahon series, but she can’t stand the cover model that plays McMahon (Channing Tatum, from Magic Mike). She based her novels on historical research about a lost treasure, and a reclusive billionaire (played by Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter) kidnaps her to use her expertise in finding that treasure. Tatum decides he must save her, no matter what. The problem is, he has no clue how to save her.

Transplant (Season 2)

Next up, it’s time for a medical drama!

transplant is a Canadian show set and shot right here in Toronto! it stars Hamza Hak (from Delia’s Gone) as a Syrian refugee who fled during the civil war. He’s since come to Canada, and is hoping to resume his career as a doctor. He has to deal with culture shock, racism, as well as all the hardships of working in an intense hospital setting. This newest season sees him reunited with a former friend from Syria (played by Nora Guerch from Death of a Ladies’ Man) that he thought he was dead. Turns out he has a lot to learn.

Everything Everywhere All At Once is a new film from the DANIELS (that’s Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, who previously directed Swiss Army Man together). This film stars Michelle Yeoh (from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Star Trek: Discovery) as an average middle-aged woman. But one day, she discovers a plot to tear apart the multiverse. At this point, she learns that she can use all the abilities of her multiversal counterparts. For example, one of her multiversal selves de ella is a martial arts movie star, so she immediately learns kung fu. This also stars Johnathan Ke Quan (from the Goonies), James Hong (from Big Trouble in Little China), and Jamie Lee Curtis (from Knives Out).

Lizzo’s Watch Out For The Big Grrrls is a show in which the pop superstar is looking for women to join her dance crew on her next world tour. But she’s not just looking for anybody, she’s looking for big, beautiful women. All contestants participate in various dance competitions, to see if they’ve got what it takes. Lizzo created the show to provide representation for women who aren’t seen in media that often, and the contestants are all happy to see themselves as the beautiful women they truly are.

It’s back!

The second season of Bridgerton is out now! This new season sees Anthony (played by Johnathan Bailey from Broadchurch) deciding to finally marry. He has his sights set on a pair of sisters, Kate (played by Simone Ashley from Detective Pikachu) and Edwina Sharpe (played by Charithra Chandran from Alex Rider). He’s more interested in Edwina, but he’s going to have to go through Kate to get to her from her first from her. But perhaps a love will blossom between them? You’ll have to watch it to find out!
