A motorcyclist has been killed in an accident at Delta.
Police were called to the 8700 block of Ladner Trunk Road around 1 p.m. Saturday for reports of a single-vehicle collision.
When they arrived, paramedics were treating a motorcyclist who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
“We offer our sincerest thoughts and condolences to the rider’s family and friends,” said Delta Police Sgt. James Sandberg in a statement.
The accident victim is a 25-year-old man from Delta.
Ladner Trunk Road was still closed between 80th Street and Hornby Road on Saturday night and was expected to remain that way for several more hours.
