Morelos seeks to promote the agribusiness sector with financing

As part of the objectives of the state government to generate conditions that promote economic reactivation, the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor (SDEyT), through the Morelense Institute for the Financing of the Productive Sector (Morelos Fund), has implemented programs that allow the different sectors to access financing.

The holder of the SDEyT, Ana Cecilia Rodríguez González, highlighted that derived from the economic situation generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, emerging programs were implemented for the agro-industrial sector, therefore, dissemination was made to provide advice that would facilitate the integration of files and access to credits under preferential conditions.

“For the state government this sector is relevant, so we work to bring this type of support closer, to take advantage of the injection of liquidity, resume and increase activities and join the local economic reactivation,” he added.

In turn, the general director of Fondo Morelos, Raúl Captain Contle, said that on the occasion of the start-up of the emerging programs, he had the opportunity to meet Persian cucumber producers, as well as nurserymen, which was an opportunity to listen to their needs, experiences, business models and, above all, to provide them with care. to grant them the resources.

Likewise, in order to monitor them, visits were made to one of the Persian cucumber producers, which has a greenhouse in the municipality of Puente de Ixtla, which is a source of employment for 40 people in the region, and markets at the National and international.

In the same way, nurseries from the different municipalities were visited, who used the loans to invest in marigold and poinsettia plants, with the intention of preparing for these December dates.

Raúl Capitán recognized the dedication of these entrepreneurs for the conditions to continue operations and encouraged them to take advantage of these dates to promote themselves, in the same way he reiterated his commitment to promote financing schemes so that all sectors are served.
