Montreal weather: if a wind warning wasn’t bad enough, there’s freezing rain too

A double gust of wind and freezing rain advisories will be in effect Saturday.

Freezing rain begins in the morning and then changes to periods of rain around noon. The accumulation of ice will range between 2 and 5 millimeters.

The wind will come from the northeast at 20 km / h, with gusts of 40, then it will turn from the southeast with gusts of 30 to 50 around noon.

Environment Canada forecasts a maximum of 7 with a wind chill of minus 7 in the morning.

Tonight : Showers ending in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers. A wind from the southeast at 30 km / h, with gusts of 50, will turn southwest at 60 km / h, with gusts of 90 at night, then it will change to the west at 40 km / h, with gusts of 70 during the night. The temperature will rise at 10 at night and then it will drop.
