Montreal: shots fired in Little Burgundy

Shots rang out at the end of the day in the Little Burgundy district of Montreal, without causing any casualties.

The bangs were reported to 911 around 5:30 p.m., after one or more suspects repeatedly discharged their weapon at the intersection of Quesnel and Dominion streets.

On the spot, the investigators found casings, as well as impacts of projectiles in a car and in an apartment building, specified the agent Gabrielle Youakim, spokesperson for the Service of police of the City of Montreal (SPVM) .

At first glance, no one seemed to have been hit by the projectiles.

The shooter, for his part, fled before the arrival of the police. They have opened an investigation to try to find him.
