Montreal police seek suspects in NDG break-in and attempted fraud


On Nov. 5 at about 2 am, two individuals broke into a Notre-Dame-de-Grâce home and stole more than $5,000 in valuables and a credit card.

The criminal investigation unit of the Montreal police force is asking the public’s assistance to apprehend two suspects linked to a home break-in, theft and fraud that occurred last fall.

On Nov. 5 at about 2 am, two individuals broke into a Notre-Dame-de-Grâce home and stole more than $5,000 in valuables and a credit card. Afterward, the thieves attempted to purchase jewelry valued at close to $100,000 from the online site of a high-end downtown jeweler with the stolen credit card.

The first suspect is described as a white male, about 25 years old. During the break-in he was wearing a blue surgical mask, a black Air Jordan jacket, a white shirt, a cap, black pants, white and blue Jordan sandals and white socks.

The second person is a white female, also about 25 years old, who was wearing a blue surgical mask, a black felt jacket, ripped blue jeans and red shoes.
