Montreal police arrested a suspect in connection with four recent armed robberies in Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Pointe-Claire.

Serge Gagnon, 57, was arrested near the intersection of Cavendish and Côte-Vertu Blvds. Thursday afternoon. A compressed air pistol, an ammunition holder and a knife were seized from the car he was in. The suspect, who has a criminal record, appeared in the Montreal court. He faces various charges, including armed robbery, making threats, using a weapon and concealing a weapon.
