Led by their leader François Amalega, a dozen activists presented themselves at the beginning of the lunch hour in front of the Henri-Bourassa high school, located on boulevard Maurice-Duplessis, in the Montreal-North sector.

There, a handful of parents were waiting for them and had the firm intention of derailing their demonstration.

“Children, it’s’ don’t touch!” “Launched a mother, who came to confront the pack of anti-ax activists.

For a little over an hour, we were able to witness the game of cat and mouse between the two groups of demonstrators.

While François Amalega tried to “inform” the students about the “dangers” of the vaccine and of wearing a mask using a megaphone, his opponents prevented him from “throwing up his propaganda” by shouting louder than him. .

This little merry-go-round continued throughout the dinner hour, under the watchful eye of several police officers who observed the scene from behind.

“[François] Amalega comes every two or three days to disturb people, to harass with her megaphone. I am no longer able to hear him misinform and disgust our children as he does, ”lamented Hans Labrie, a father of two school-aged children.

“If he wants to continue doing this, he will find us on his way,” he added.

“Schools, hospitals, businesses: these people must stop demonstrating in these places. We will not let them do it, ”said Raymond Filion, father of two daughters.

The spirits were heated on a few occasions during the demonstration, but no hits were struck and no arrests were made.

On his Facebook page, the activist François Amalega has already indicated that his group will demonstrate again on Wednesday, in front of the Louis-Riel school, in the east of Montreal, to “save” the children “one after the other. Because they are our future.

Anti-ax activists had already gone to this high school to question students in mourning following the death of a 15-year-old student, presumably following a heart attack.

In an interview with the “Journal de Montreal”, the father of the young victim lamented that anti-vaccines use the death of his daughter to spread their disinformation.

Despite this, activist François Amalega persists and signs: he “demands” an independent investigation to shed light on the death of the teenager, who died suddenly almost three months after receiving her second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

“Our kids are not lab rats,” Amalega wrote on his Facebook page.
