Things about your boss and your company in dispute that were being investigated in an alleged $ 43 million fraud.

And now, she is lost.

Planck, 39, of Buffalo, has not been seen since Oct. 17 when she left her son’s soccer game with her dog.

The canine named Seven was later found wandering the corridors on the 28th floor of a Los Angeles apartment building.

Now, her ex-husband James Wayne claims her boss Jason Sugarman wasn’t “too worried” when he disappeared.

Wayne alleges that Sugarman was really concerned about the whereabouts of Planck’s job computer.

“The answer to Heidi’s whereabouts is in her boss, Jason Sugarman, and his company,” Wayne alleged to the Daily mail , adding that he fears his ex-wife was the victim of foul play.

Before his disappearance, Planck worked as a financial controller at Camden Capital Partners, where Sugarman is a managing partner. He is currently under investigation for his alleged involvement in the $ 43 million fraud.

Wayne told the Mail that he received a phone call from the Securities and Exchange Commission asking about Sugarman four days after Planck’s disappearance.

“Heidi knows all the secrets of Jason and the company. She knows where the bones are buried, ”Wayne alleged. “They were interested in Sugarman and his company. They wanted to know what I knew about them and generally asked what I thought of Sugarman. “

Sugarman was charged by the SEC in 2019 with plotting a fraudulent scheme that swindled $ 43 million from pension funds and left a Native American tribe $ 60 million in debt.

His business partner, Jason Galanis, has already been sentenced to 189 months in prison in 2020 for multiple fraudulent schemes, including the tribal bond scam.

Wayne said that when he spoke to Sugarman’s assistant he was struck by the nonchalant attitude.

“While on the phone with his assistant, I heard Sugarman in the background barking at his assistant saying, ‘Make sure he knows I want my laptop,’” Wayne alleged.

“There was no concern from my ex-wife’s employer. It’s a multi-million dollar company, they didn’t offer to hire a private investigator or offer a reward. The only thing that really worried them was Heidi’s computer, ”he alleged, adding that he turned the laptop over to the police.

But when Wayne called again several days later, the assistant accused his ex-wife of “diverting money from the company” and claimed that Sugarman had “evidence.”

However, detectives told him that his ex-wife did not have much money in her accounts.

He added: “It was pretty low on the part of Sugarman and his henchmen to accuse Heidi of basically embezzling when she mysteriously disappeared. This all sucks. Something is not right and I can’t point it out. “

“I hope for the best result, but we also have to prepare for the worst,” added Wayne.
