The State Ministry of Economy will place 2,300 million pesos, in which Nacional Financiera will grant guarantees for the Impulso Nuevo Nuevo León Program, which has the objective of supporting Micro, small and medium-sized companies that are coming out of the crisis caused by the pandemic, commented its head Iván Rivas Rodríguez.
This amount represents an increase of 400% with respect to what was exercised last year, which amounted to 560 million pesos.
He mentioned that this Wednesday, March 16, the first check of the program was delivered to the Fussli company, which belongs to the textile business and manufactures uniforms, has 15 employees and will use the credit to expand its operations.
“In the state there are 12,500 companies like Fussli, which create 270,000 jobs, and generate more than 195,000 million pesos in added value, they are very important for job creation, (with this program) more than 10% of the companies in the state they will receive a loan from Impulso Nuevo Nuevo León”, he stated.

The requirements to have access to a credit is to have two years of having constituted the company, and that it is registered in Nuevo León.
“The amount of credit that the state invests this year is 100 million pesos, in previous years the maximum amount that was invested was 27 million pesos, it grew three times,” he emphasized.
From 2016 to 2021, the credit support granted by the government of Nuevo León totaled 4,300 million pesos.
“We know that SMEs come from a very complicated situation (due to Covid-19), they were the ones that suffered the most with their sales, payment to their collaborators or the closure of their businesses, because there was no financing and this harmed their competitiveness” , pointed out Rivas Rodriguez.
Boost with Banregio
In turn, Héctor Cantú Reyes, Deputy General Director of Banregio, commented that the Impulso Nuevo Nuevo León program will be promoted up to an amount of 2,300 million pesos, Banregio’s expectation is to cover at least 20% of this program .
Banregio seeks to continue reflecting itself as a leading bank in the placement of loans to SMEs. “In the previous programs we managed to place 25% (of the credits) and we believe that we could be in that percentage.”
“The objective for Impulso 2022 is to place an average ticket of 1,500,000 pesos, that is, if this takes us to 460 million pesos, we would support approximately 300 Neolonian SMEs,” stressed Héctor Cantú.
